Checking in a hotel means spending a considerable amount of money. And because of that, we all have basic expectations we want them to meet, and if possible, to exceed, in order for us to feel that we got our money’s worth. So what are we looking for anyway from these establishments to feel just that? And what distinguishes a substandard hotel from one that is distinctly reputable and favored?

The Facilities

More than having beautifully coordinated interior items and pieces of furniture, I’m sure everyone would agree that we put a premium on the cleanliness of the place. There are some hotels that scream for a complete clean up or even renovation at first sight and smell. Well, that is far from happening when you decide to stay in Hampton Inn and Suites in Madison, or with any Hampton hotels for that matter. The Hampton chain is well regarded not only for prioritizing sanitation, but also for having all the basic amenities you’d expect to have from a hotel – a small business center for on-the-go business travelers, meeting rooms equipped with audio visual equipments for conventions and seminars and party venues; and an indoor pool and exercise room for those who strictly have to follow their work out. Of course the hotel has a hot and cold breakfast area where guests can choose a wide variety of sumptuous meals to start their day. Pretty much all the things we know a hotel should have.

The Location

A good hotel to consider booking yourself into, again, whether for leisure or business trip, is one that is accessible to a lot of things and places. You certainly wouldn’t want to stay in one that is in the middle of nowhere, unless your primary reason for staying in one is to hibernate. The Hampton facility in Madison is located in a business district which makes even more ideal to be a hotel of choice for those going on business trips. The fact that it is in a business district is also the reason why it is in close proximity to a lot of dining establishments, shopping malls and entertainment areas. Some must-see places are Camp Randall Stadium, Henry Vilas Zoo and West Towne Mall. As such, The Hampton Inn and Suites in Madison, Wisconsin is clearly your hotel of choice for a delightful mix of leisure and business next time you find Madison in your itinerary.
